Hi everyone!!

Hope that you guys all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year! We're sorry for the long break without writing. It has been a very fun and busy time for us!

We got to celebrate our first Christmas as a little family here in Mexico (last year we celebrated in Las Vegas so this was our first official Mexican Christmas)! It was so much fun!

We started the season off with lots of baking; it was a blessing because CTC was donated enough dough and resources to make over 1,000 cookies to give as gifts to the different ministries we work with! So Charmaine, Angelina and Babs, Charmaine's mother, spent a lot of time in the kitchen and Jadon signed up as the official cookie taste tester It definitely seemed like everyone enjoyed their giant bag of cookies and candy, and we were blessed making(and taste testing) them of course.

It was a blast doing Christmas stuff with all the different ministries here, but I think our favorite thing was teaching Christmas songs to the English class kids! Check out this video to hear their rendition of “Jesus Born on this Day”!

For New Years, we headed to Las Vegas to spend time with our family there, and then shortly after we ventured to Murrietta, California for the Calvary Chapel Missions Conference! It was an amazing time of learning, refreshment, and fellowship. God really spoke to us as a family about trusting Him in each season and seeking to be faithful in His plan for us. It reminds us of the verse Ephesians 2:10: “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”

We know that we are getting ready to walk through a new season with a lot of change this year. Our CTC team is going to go through lots of changes especially since James and Charmaine feel the Lord is calling them to move on. By God's providence in just a few weeks CTC will be welcoming two new missionaries from our church in Las Vegas- Paul and Veronica Morales. They are an amazing couple that love the Lord so much. We feel that God is desiring to expand the ministry here more and more and we are excited to see what He has! Please keep James and Charmaine in your prayers as well as Paul and Veronica as they are taking the plunge into international missions.

By the way, we have some news for you all...

Woohoo! We found out this last Tuesday that our newest family member is another little boy =)! We are so excited! Thank you so much for praying with us for this healthy pregnancy.

If you can also please keep in prayer with us for this weekend, we have a wonderful ladies team coming from CC Spring Valley. Please pray with us for their safe journey and that God would move through them as they minister and that lives would be blessed and come to know Him.

Hello Everyone!

We hope that you're all doing well, and having fun as you get ready to celebrate these upcoming holidays. There has been so much going on here, and we can hardly believe our little boy is about to turn one this week!
We'd really like to begin to use this blog to present to you individual lives that we get the pleasure of ministering to and with here in Mexico. Having said that, we would like you all to meet some friends of ours:

These are the residents of the City of Angels Home for children. While some of these boys and girls are orphans, most of them come from families that are unable to support them financially. This ministry provides them with food, uniforms, schooling, a warm bed, and a biblical upbringing. All of the children attend church weekly and also have a devotional or prayer meeting every night.
Every Tuesday night we are privileged to be able to lead a Bible study for all of the 40+ City of Angels kids. We sing and dance and praise the Lord together, and then we relax and study the Bible verse by verse.

Last week, we talked about when the Lord appeared to Abraham in a vision in Genesis 15, "Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward." We discovered that we don't have to be afraid because the Lord is our protection and our prize in life.

We also talked about how Abraham "believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness." We discovered that faith in Jesus Christ is the only thing that can wash us and make us white as snow.

Through this study, we have formed some really precious relationships not only with the children, but also with the staff as well. Imagine taking responsibility for over forty kids ages two to twelve 24 hours a day!
Please be in prayer over these wonderful kids; pray for their health physically, emotionally and spiritually. Pray for the workers and directors of this ministry. Pray that the Lord would give us wisdom as we try to share the Word of God with them.

Also, please come and meet these children. I guarantee that you won't regret it.You will form connections with them that could last their lifetime.We would love to introduce you.

By the way, we found out a little while ago that Angelina is pregnant again! Woo hoo! We are so excited. We're hoping that it's a girl so we can have the complete set =),but we definitely don't mind if it's a boy.

The CTC Wednesday Night Bible Study has moved into the local community with prayerful hopes of becoming Calvary Chapel La Gloria.
The Niños del Rey program is growing! Capilla Calvario Sante Fe has begun their own Niños del Rey program three days a week to reach out to nearby kids with a Bible study, meal, and help with their homework.

Hi friends and family,

We hope that you had a great end to your summer! If the weather where you live is anything like Mexico, it sure still feels like summer. A lot has happened here this last month that we'd love to update you on.

We're so glad, hot or not, that school is back in and the Ninos del Rey after school program kids are back running around the property! We missed them so much. Thank you for your continued prayers for this program, for God's will to be done in it and that all the children would come to know Him.

One of the most exciting things that has happened this last month, was that new church building for Capilla Calvario Antiochia in Granjas is now completed! Charmaine made a video of the whole building process, please take some time to watch it! Its been such a blessing to see the Lord bless this congregation and its Pastor Gonzalo. He is also so powerful. Its been amazing to see the power of His word. Thank you for your prayers for the Cirad rehab center studies and the study at the boys' home, we really feel like the Lord is moving in the lives of the youth in both of these places. So far, we have not begun another study with the girls at the Cirad, but please keep them and this possibility in your prayers as many of them are seeking and hungry to truly know God.

We've been blessed to begin another Bible study through our church here in Mexico, Capilla Calvario Sante Fe, at a local Brother's home. The first night the study took place we rejoice that a young lady who was actually helping with the praise and worship gave her life to God. Talk about a divine appointment :D and we all now have a new Sister in Christ! God is so good.

Thank you for praying with us for wisdom in how to serve at the Hospice here in Tijuana. So far, on Monday mornings Brennan has been helping with the volunteers there- changing patients' diapers, feeding them, and learning about their different health problems. It has been an experience like no other we've had yet here in Mexico. Its a blessing to come alongside the workers and see the way the Holy Spirit works through them in love and service. To be honest, this kind of service is very stretching for us. It's difficult to see the pain and sickness that these people live with everyday, with little hope of more medical treatment or recovery. We know that there is hope for them in God, and we feel like we can see more deeply into God's heart the way that He loves each person there so much, and has sent the workers there to care for them so affectionately in His love. The key to serving there, one of the workers explained to us, is to remember that each of the patients is Jesus. Remember, “‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ “

Thursday mornings a local community center invites elderly people to get together and talk.. A few times we've been privileged stop by and share about the Lord. Many of them are in need of serious work done on there houses, especially their roofs, before the rainy season, and need medical care as well. Our hearts break for their needs and we wish we could take care of all of them as our own grandparents. We can pray for them though, as we do know the One that can and does take care of them. They have asked us if possible, to get blankets together for them before the weather starts to get really cold. If you have any blankets that you'd like to donate, please let us know!

One of Jadon's favorite things to do now that he can crawl is put baby wipes in convenient locations around his room!

Other than that, our baby boy Jadon is almost 10 months old and is officially on the move! He began crawling last week and now loves to get into EVERYTHING! We're having so much fun chasing him around :D and learning how to child-proof! We also got to take him to get his very first haircut this month which was so much fun.

Hi friends and family,

We hope that you're all doing well! It's been a wonderful few weeks here. In July we had four back to back teams, and they were such a blessing, and kept us very busy(also a blessing =D)! It was fun to get to minister along side them as they put on some really special outreaches for the people here. Take a look at a few pictures below from the teams:

As things have now slowed down a bit, we have been praying specifically for God to guide us where He would have us seek to reach out more, and we feel like He pointed us to two verses and opened a few new doors. The verses we felt led to are:

James 1:27:^“Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.”

and

Matthew 25: 31-40:“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’ “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ “

One of the doors He has opened is with a hospice here in Tijuana. Will you please pray with us about how He may have us serve there? This hospice serves people on their death bed who have no family or anyone to look after them. Many of them are found lying on the street corner. Along with being fed, bathed, and monitored 24 hours a day, the hospice staff and local ministries make sure to communicate the Gospel to them in any way that they can. The need is great, and many of the patients will surely pass away soon unless funds are provided for surgeries, dialysis, or whatever the need may be. Please continue in prayer for the patients as well as the leadership and staff members.

Another door has also been opened to us at a local home for boys to do a Bible study with them once a week. There are seven boys ages 13-17 and the head of the home is a fellow Christian brother. Our heart is to come alongside and help him in any way, as his family takes full responsibility for all the boys in the home. The Bible study we've been blessed to begin starts this Friday, our hope is that we might eventually be able to bring dinner each Friday as well. Thank you so much for praying both for the hospice and home for boys.

We've mentioned before that its been amazing to see the power of God's word at the CIRAD rehabilitation center studies, especially in the lives of the young girls. We'd really like to go deeper with them in discipleship and are praying about the right opportunity. Currently, the head of the center has given us the ok for Angelina to spend time with the girls after the study, to sit in with them in their AA meeting, and spend some time with them after the meeting as well every week. We're just praying through what this time should look like, perhaps another Bible study? Please pray with us for wisdom in how to proceed.

We are also prayerfully proceeding with beginning a new English for adults. We've been noticing that some parents like to sit in the youth class and are hoping would enjoy a class as well. Please pray with us as we get the ball rolling August 20^th for the new class. We feel that our youth class has been helpful in building relationships with some people that normally may have been difficult to reach and our prayer is that in the relationships that we're able to make through these classes that the love of Jesus would shine through and that if they don't already have a relationship with Christ that they would come to know Him.

Our last but not least prayer request is for the CTC after school program, Ninos del Rey, which is already beginning again in two weeks!! Please lift up with us both the children and the teachers of this program. We are so excited to once again have them all running around the property three times a week, we miss them!

We know that the Lord is so faithful to hear and answer prayer(whether it be a yes, a no, or wait). Lately we've been seeing so many answered prayers, we barely know what to do with ourselves other than look up in awe. Over these last few weeks, we've seen God miraculously provide our family with a personal vehicle, a new refrigerator (and the hands to bring it up our flight of stairs) and a new friend for Jadon(who has a mom who speaks English, one of Angelina's secret prayer requests). We are so blown away by God's grace and love. Who are we that he should be mindful of us? We are so blessed to serve Him. And in His goodness, we get to serve Him alongside brothers and sisters(such an amazing gift). Please email us and let us know what we can be praying with you =) we hope to talk to you soon!

Hi Friends and Happy Independence day to all of our fellow Americans! Hope that you are all doing well, and maybe even enjoying a bbq and some watermelon today(Jadon tried watermelon last month and is a big fan) =)! That's our plan later this evening!

Since we last wrote we were blessed with a short family visit and a long furlough and are now back in Mexico. Its good to be home!

It's really been an interesting month for us! Our home church saw fit to bring us back to Las Vegas for a furlough after we'd been sick for a few weeks. To be honest, we were a little bummed at first because

we had just begun feeling better. We finally wanted to “hit the grindstone” again, but, by God's grace, He had something else in mind. As we all know, His plan is much better than our own.

On our way to Las Vegas, our plan was to make the most of the down time and to seek the Lord as much as possible. When we got there, there were no bolts of lightning or anything! It was like we were trying to fit a circle into a square or something ... just trying to force some sort of change in our own lives, in our timing, right then, during our furlough, you know, when it was convenient, please Lord!


We got to be in Las Vegas just in time to say goodbye to a dear friend who was about to move, we love you Marleen! Thanks to God for His perfect timing.

And our caring God gently brought us to that place where we realized yet again, nothing is possible in our own strength, but with God all things are possible. He keeps reminding us to give Him back the steering wheel and to allow Him to lead. And He gave us peace in our hearts with that, being content just in being His children(the most amazing gift). It's no secret that God is the best Dad ever and knows how to give good gifts to His children. The furlough was such a gracious gift in itself; however, the Lord had even more blessings in mind.

During that time, we had one of those cool God moments where we both independently found ourselves in the book of Philippians(and then later discovered “Hey! You're reading that right now too??”) We were so blessed, we really felt God reaching out to us and encouraging us. Especially with Philippians 1:6 “being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ”. I hope that for you that verse is very encouraging as well, God is not finished with any of us yet. We are so grateful for His grace and love, and, for the gift it is to serve Him.

In 1 Timothy: 12-17, Paul writes, “And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry, although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise,be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.” Amen! =)

Anyway, that's it for my ramble about our furlough, God is amazing.

Back here in Mexico, the construction of the Granjas church project is well under way, and God has really blessed it so far. Thank you so much for all of your prayers. Please continue to pray for this project with us.

The English classes also are going very well. We can't believe that last week we finished Module 1 of the class and gave out the very first test! We have to admit, we were a little nervous while watching the students take the test, counting their fingers and things like that, but, much to our surprise, they all scored 100%!! Woohoo praise be to God! Many thanks again to you all for your faithful prayers.

Please also keep in prayer the four short term teams that will be staying and ministering with us over these next few weeks in July. We are so excited! Our first team arrives this weekend, a ladies group from CC Spring Valley. We look forward to updating you in our next post about these trips.

Hola amigos,

Les extrañamos muchos! It feels like its been such a long time since we've written. We hope that you've been doing well and are maybe enjoying a long Memorial day weekend =).

Us at the doctor earlier this month, they asked us to wear masks!

Things are going well here in Mexico! Our little family has been sick these last few weeks and we are so grateful to finally be getting better, thank you so much for your prayers!

The last time we wrote we told you that CTC was planning two outreaches at the El Campo soccer field-- and they went so well, Praise God, we felt your prayers and feel like we really saw God's love for the people here.

While CC Redbluff was here, they also spent some time with the kids at City Of Angels. Below are some pictures of there time, and of an awesome Easter craft they did with them. We love these kids so much! The Bible studies with them continue to go well, thank you for praying!

Thank you also for praying for the first Evangelistic English classes. We were able to begin them! They are taking place in the recreation room at the El Campo soccer field. We thank God because we know He is the one who is opening the doors there. We have had about four classes since then and there are currently about 10 students attending. Please keep this ministry in your prayers, that God would lead and be glorified through it! Here are a few pictures from the last class:

New in the CIRAD rehabilitation center Bible studies: We had been praying about the possibility of having someone come alongside with us to help with praise and worship; and we are so blessed that God has answered this prayer,our friend Uriel and his little brother felt called to help out and are now leading worship for the two studies. It was incredible to see it work out in God's timing, because the first week they began, Brennan had just about lost his voice! God's timing is always perfect.

Speaking of God's timing, He saw fit that last week was the perfect time for Jadon to get his very first tooth! He is loving to gnaw on just about everything with it, and has also recently begun eating real food! What a big boy! His favorite so far are bananas, and least favorite are carrots, but we are hopeful for a change in heart.

The first two weeks of June we are blessed that our family has been asked to take a furlough to our home in Las Vegas. We always find so much refreshment there with our family and home church. It is our desire to make the most of this time and to really sit at the Lord's feet. We hope that He would grow us closer to Him and refresh and refocus us as a family on His heart. Psalm 90:12 “So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom.” We know that this time is such a gift!

We will also be praying specifically that God would bring more teams over the next few months to stay at CTC(as the facility runs on income made when teams stay and minister) and share the love of God with the people here, and also for fresh vision, especially for the community clean up ministry. Hi again!

Hope that you all are doing well and that you've had a wonderful last few weeks!

We have a lot to celebrate and update you on with this last busy month here in Mexico!

A few days after our last post, we were so blessed to see the students of Ninos del Rey running up to us with certificates in their hands! Many of them received “diplomas” congratulating them for being first or second in their classes, and we are so proud! We are so grateful for all of the teachers that so faithfully work with these children, helping them not only with their homework, but teaching them about God's love for them. We know that they are making such a difference in the lives of these children, trusting in God's word “train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it” Proverbs 22:6.

Walking by faith in this promise we have begun a Bible study at the City of Angels orphanage. These past two weeks we've been getting to know the wonderful orphanage family. It's awesome to be coming alongside such a beautiful work of the Lord and to see the directors of the orphanage leading the precious kids in His way. Thank you so much for your prayers for the Cirad Rehabilitation Center as well! The Bible studies with the youth continue to go well, and the first few studies with the adults have definitely been interesting to say the least! At the first study, during the teaching, one man led his own rendition of “La Cucharacha” for everyone to enjoy. It was definitely awkwardly funny, but the Lord really moved as we got to pray with him and many more of the men afterwards. Please continue to pray for God's Spirit to be guiding through His Word; for salvation and discipleship; and continued guidance for them when they are released from the center.

We've really been seeing God move in the “community clean up” ministry here. Last week, while a team from CCSV was here, we were able to do some weeding, trash clean up, and a small outreach at the El Campo soccer field(this is the same field where we plan to begin evangelistic English classes soon), and the locals were so blessed by it! Looking ahead, we plan to do a similar outreach there next week, and another one geared towards connecting the people with local churches on April 30^th for a big holiday here called “Day of the Kid!” Jadon sure is glad we live in Mexico because we don't have this holiday in the US! Please keep these upcoming outreaches in your prayers- that God's name would be glorified and that many would come to know Him. We look forward to sharing with you how they went in our next blog.

A few more Praise requests because God is so good:

-He has provided many donations for the evangelistic English classes we look forward to starting! This is an answer to prayer! We hope to begin May 7^th.

-On March 22, our friends Jorje and Erika had their baby Santi!!

-And lastly, we are praising God because Easter is almost here!! Jesus is risen, our Redeemer lives!! We are looking so forward to celebrating His resurrection!

We are actually very spoiled because our family is bringing us to Las Vegas next week to celebrate with them. We hope to get to see some of you while we're there! Hi Everybody,

How are you doing? We hope that all is well, and that you remembered the time change yesterday! We didn't =(... thanks for a lot for reminding us. Hehe, just kiddng. We did forget, but of course we're not mad at you =).

Although, it's incredible how one little change can throw off the entire day if we let it! We're so grateful that we serve the the only Person(God) that never changes! Hebrews 13:8 says “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” Even though we might think that the little change messed up our entire day, we know His plans are much better than our own(phew!), and He was and will always be consistent, just, faithful, graceful, merciful, and love us. Thank you Lord!

Thanks so much for all of your prayers, it's been an awesome month, and we've definitely felt your prayers and seen many answered!

The most amazing after school kids on the planet.

We mentioned in our last blog about the Thursday afternoon Bible study we've been given the opportunity to teach at a local rehabilitation center for the youth; and over the last few weeks we've watched as God is really moving in the hearts of the kids there. And in turn, He is really breaking our hearts as they are beginning to open up to us about their lives and sharing their prayer requests. We know that He has a plan for each soul there and can give them new lives, delivered and restored by His love. And this past weekend, while a team was here ministering to them from Santa Fe, California, many of the young girls made the choice to give their lives to Him! God is so good and His Word is so powerful!

We really feel like God is leading us as a team, opening new doors for ministry. Will you pray with us for God's guidance and will to be done with these opportunities?:

The same rehabilitation center that we are currently ministering to also houses 40 men that were former drug addicts, and starting this week on Thursday, after the youth study, the door has been opened to begin a Bible study for them as well(Praise God)!

A popular soccer field near CTC has its own multi-purpose room, and the owner has offered it to us free of charge on the weekends. Evangelistic English classes have been put on our hearts, and we think this may be the place to begin them. However, although we speak English, we've never taught it! You can see we need prayer :D.

Also, a local orphanage has invited us to come begin a little Bible study with them weekly.We would also love to begin to take teams there as well.

In other news, we're very excited because our friends Jorje and Erika are getting ready to have their very first baby!! They are expecting a baby boy named Santiago, and we are expecting him and Jadon to be best friends.

Jorje is a pastor at a local Calvary Chapel here, and they are beginning the stages of opening a coffee shop at their church. We personally tried the cappuccino they want to sell, and it is a w e s o m e. Please keep them in prayer for their new baby, and also for their coffee shop as they minister in an area where there are a lot of young people, and they believe the coffee shop may be a new way to reach out and share the love of Jesus with them.

Also new this month, Jadon is becoming such a big boy, he is starting to turn over on his own, and laugh, which we think is the cutest and sweetest thing yet. You have to come visit and see him! Also, our neighbor Trini taught us how to make a food called sopes, which can only be described as “yuuum".

Hi everyone,

We have officially made it down south! For the last two weeks, we have been enjoying unpacking and getting back into the swing of things here in Mexico. Thank you all so much for your prayers, it has been so nice to see familiar faces of our sweet family here and to experience the feeling of being home again. Jadon especially had fun meeting all of his new familia here in Mexico. He fits right in! :)

Our first week back, the CTC after school program for kids instated a monthly Olympics, and we got to experience the very first one. It was so much fun! There were four teams of mixed big kids with little kids, running all kinds of races and obstacle courses. Watching the kids laugh and play(and roll and fall!), we were reminded of what a blessing it is that the Lord has given the CTC kids a beautiful soccer field to play on! God is so good.

He has blessed so bountifully the ministries here at CTC. The children’s program(Ninos del Rey) now has so many children in attendance, we’ve actually reached our limit! The wonderful staff of teachers are working hard to help every single child with his or her homework because we’re almost 40 kid’s strong! The weekly ladies Bible has grown as well! It is up to 14 ladies (now including Angelina :) ) regularly in attendance, fellowshipping and seeking God’s face together. We praise God that CTC has also recently been able to reach out to a local rehabilitation center with weekly Bible studies to the youth there as well.

We’re very excited and would be so grateful for your prayer about ministry opportunities coming up for us here at CTC. We hope to share with you in our next blog more details about the Rehabilitation Center Bible study as well as the new church building project for CC Antiochia in Granjas.

We are currently seeking the Lord for His will for more ways to share His love with the community here in La Gloria. Will you pray with us? Some things that He has put on our hearts include weekly community park cleaning and evangelism, evangelistic English classes, outreach to local pastors, coming alongside and assisting more local church plants, and orphanage and hospital outreach. Some other ministry prayer requests include: transportation for our Ninos del Rey children(currently we pick them up from school in the back of the CTC blue truck), thick gloves for community park cleanings(we find lots of glass!), and other play equipment for the after school program.

Thank you so much for praying with us, it is such a gift to be able to pray and know that our Heavenly Father is listening! Luke 11: 9-13 says, “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

Hi Everyone, Merry Christmas and happy New Year! We are delighted to introduce you to the newest member of our family: Jadon Benjamin Davis! He was born at 11:39pm on November 23, 2010, weighing 7lbs 6oz and measuring 20 inches long. We have been having a blast these first few weeks of parenthood getting to know Jadon and developing a new respect for parents everywhere(we have officially joined the 2am diaper change club :D).

We hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!! In Mexico, they had an incredible Christmas at CTC, take a look at these pictures Charmaine took of the Ladies' Bible Study tea and Ninos del Rey Christmas party:

Do you have any resolutions this new year? We have three, not at all in order of importance: One, to healthily and gradually lose our baby(and sympathy hehe) weight. Two, to grow closer to the Lord than ever before. What a blessing that He gives us the promise in James 4:8 "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you." We really like the verse before that too, "Resist the devil and he will flee from you" Woohoo!

And our other resolution? To return to Mexico! Well, I'm not sure you can call that a resolution, but we are really excited to finally be returning! It is such a blessing to be there. Please pray for us as we get Jadon's passport and prepare our little family to travel back to Mexico at the end of this month. We are looking very forward to seeing all that the Lord has this year in La Gloria.

Hey everybody!

Hope that you're all doing really well and blessed. We are here in Las Vegas playing a waiting game with our baby that could come at any minute. Thank you all so much for your prayer through this season! While we are still able to catch some sleep and free time before the baby, we wanted to update you all on what's been going on since we last wrote.

Throughout these past months, we have been getting checkups for our soon to be little bundle of joy. We praise God that the doctor says he's nice and healthy and probably about 6 pounds. It's cute, though, because Angelina is a little lady. We are praying for a natural birth, but are open to whatever His will may be. We will most definitely be getting you pictures of baby Jadon Benjamin Davis ASAP (meaning... in between diaper changes) once he comes. His expected due date is THIS Tuesday(we're so excited!).

While being back in Las Vegas, working at CC Spring Valley has really been a blessing. The leadership has been so awesome to give us the opportunity to keep busy during this waiting period. Angelina was able to serve as the church receptionist up until a few weeks ago, and I've been given the privilege of overseeing the translation of the Basics course into Spanish. We're hoping the newly translated copies will not only benefit the Hispanic community of Las Vegas, but also be helpful in ministry in La Gloria.

Although we love being with our family at CC Spring Valley, we really miss Mexico so much. Thank you all so much for your prayer and support of the work there. Thanks, as well, to those who went and blessed us behind our backs with a new room for Jadon! It will be such an amazing "welcome back" when we return.

Many people have asked us when we plan on heading back to Mexico, and we are praying for God's perfect timing. We understand that it's recommended for new mothers a minimum six-week recovery time for a natural childbirth, and we will also be securing a new passport for little Jadon and getting our family visas in order. God-willing, our prayer is to be back about mid-January. Please pray for God's favor as we embark on getting all of this paperwork together quickly, and also as we prepare for child birth in the next few days (or even minutes :D maybe!) and walk into this new season of God's plan for our lives...parenthood!

Hello everybody!

Hope that you all have been really blessed this month. The Lord has really been working here in La Gloria with our family (our soon-to-be-born son is getting very big), our team here at CTC, and with all of the teams that have been coming down to serve the people here in Mexico. Thank you so much for all of your prayers!

God has answered so many of our prayers! He is so good! Just this month, the base here was donated thirty brand new mattresses for the dorm rooms! Please come and try our new ones out because they are very comfortable. By blessing the base here, the Lord was also blessing others as we are now able to donate all of our old mattresses to ministries and families here. Just another proof that the Lord is faithful to hear our prayers.

The base was also donated some grass seed by CCSV and some cow manure by a local dairy farm; with it, we pray the Lord will change our sandy soccer field to one covered in green grass. Please be in prayer for those little seedlings. The kids that we have told from our after school program are excited and blown away at the thought of their own grass-covered soccer field. (Thank you CC Spring Valley Jr. High team for helping us spread that steaming cow poo everywhere! You made our lives a little easier to say the least.)

One of the most awesome events we'll mention this July was the outreach held in the isolated middle-class city of Del Prado. This city will hopefully be the site of a new Calvary Chapel church plant in the near future, and two churches from California ( CC Gilroy and CC Skyline) worked together to hold a small carnival for the children of the area. Because no one had ever done an event like this in that area, we had no idea how many children would show up. By the end of the day, over two hundred kids had lined up to play the carnival games, have their faces painted, get caricatures done, and receive candy prizes (so much candy that we ran out at one point and had to clean out a local supermarket to get more)! The teams also handed out hundreds of tracts, New Testaments, and one man even accepted the Lord into his heart! Everybody was invited to attend a local Bible study, which we are praying will grow into a flourishing church.

There are so many other stories that we could tell of outreaches put on by different teams that have come. Thank you to all the teams who have entertained children, worked hard in the sun, picked up garbage, evangelized local communities, and done all these things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Meanwhile, Friday afternoons here at the base have been summer school days! All of the CTC team has had lots of fun playing with these kids, but we can't believe that the summer is already almost over! The after school program for children will be starting up again very soon, so please pray that there will be many children enrolled. It has been so quiet here without the sound of children three days a week.

Last but not least, our son has been moving a lot inside of Angelina's tummy! His due date is November 16^th, and it is approaching us very quickly. To let you all know, we will be returning to Las Vegas for the last three months of Angelina's pregnancy to receive our healthcare there. We can't believe that it's almost September! We are almost parents! Isn't life with the Lord an adventure?

Hi Everyone!
We just wanted to share with you a little bit about our last week. Brennan and I were so blessed to be able to work with a group of 18 sweet people from the Calvary Chapel in Redbluff, California. Their stay was actually the first trip that Brennan and I got to plan and lead together! It was a busy busy week, and so much fun, and we believe that God really ministered through this willing group of people

The first two days of their stay, the team headed down to minister to the community of Granjas. On Monday, Pastor Gonzalo and some members of his church(Calvary Chapel Antiochia) led us in groups around the neighborhood to invite locals to come to an outreach that we were holding the next day at "la cancha"(the field). It really touched our hearts to get to talk to the people in the neighborhood and to hear members of his church, also residents of Granjas, testify how the Lord had radically transformed their lives.God is so amazing.

In the afternoon, we had some free time to walk around the church and clean a little bit. By the end of the day, the team collected about 30 bags of trash. It really made such an impact on the outside of the church.

On the outreach day, CC Redbluff served lunch to about 200 children from Granjas, led a VBS, Sport's Ministry, and Women's Bible study. Here are a few pictures from the outreach:

On Wednesday, the team got some time to rest and enjoy a day at the beach in Rosarito; then later, they joined our Bible study at CTC, it was such a good time. Pastor Gonzalo even taught us all a dance to one of the worship songs, we have a really funny video of it =), definitely email us to see it! Afterwards, the girls from Redbluff taught the kids that attended our study.

Early Thursday morning, we went to an elderly home about 30 minutes from CTC. The team blessed those who live there by cleaning their kitchen, shaving the men, and giving the women manicures and lots of hugs.

Later in the afternoon, they began a two day VBS with the kids of the colonia Leandro Valle. We personally think these kids are the sweetest in the whole wide world =). Check out a few pictures from their VBS and playing with the kids:

We also must mention, that during this past week at CTC we were actually DOUBLY blessed.

While Brennan and I got to spend our time ministering with CC Redbluff, James and Charmaine hosted a team from our home church- CC Spring Valley. The guys from Spring Valley did a lot of work at our base, staining our deck, painting one of our houses, and even helping finish our basketball court and new hop scotch court! They also got to spend time over at Calvary Chapel Antiochia in Granjas, working to plaster the outside of the children's ministry building so that it can be painted soon! We're so thankful for these two teams!

Tomorrow, Brennan and I are heading to Las Vegas for our 20 week doctor's appointment and ultra sound, and then we are preparing with James and Charmaine for a whole month of back-to-back blessings as we'll have teams staying with us from Monday July 5th-Saturday July 24th. Three of the teams will actually be from our home church, so we are very excited to see some of you here soon =) We can't wait to update you with all the pictures and exciting things that we know the Lord is going to do.

Hello Everyone!

We hope that you're all doing very well and that you got our newsletter that we mailed! If not, please let us know so that we can send you one in the future. So much has happened, over the last few months in Mexico, we're excited to update you all with some pictures!

First of all, we'd really like to introduce you to a local church in Granjas. God is really doing an amazing work in this community, and His church is growing! The church is actually no longer able to hold the number of people that come to worship there, so they are currently holding their services outside. We hope that sometime you will be able to come visit this awesome work, and that you'll keep the people of Granjas in your prayers. We've been blessed at CTC to be able to work closely with this church, the Pastor, Pastor Gonzalo, even teaches our Bible study here on Wednesday nights. A few weeks ago, CTC was blessed to host a huge gathering of a few local churches, including our own Wednesday night Bible study. Pastor Gonzalo taught, some of thechildren performed, and our Bible study presented a drama thatBrennan got to participate in. Check out these pictures from the gathering and potluck:

Last month was “Marriage Month”, soto speak, for Calvary Chapel Rosarito (Angelina and I were gratefulto attend some of there classes on marriage), and to wrap it up, theyhad a huge Date Night that CTC got to host. It was so much fun todecorate our dining room that usually only seats missionaries andkids and to turn it in to a romantic restaurant. It was even more funto pretend to be waiters and chefs and to serve them while theyplayed games and fellowshipped. You should have seen our packedkitchen while we prepared chocolate cake for 80+ guests! We evenserved chocolate strawberries for desert! It was very romantic :)Check out these pictures.

We're really excited because tonightour first summer team has arrived, and they are the first team that we gotto prepare for personally. God really showed us and taught us a lot while trying to plan for their trip. He had a plan in mind for them and was the One in complete control; we're so grateful. The team is from Calvary Chapel Redbluff;they'll be working a lot with the church in Granjas as well as doingVBS in some other areas. We will take some pictures to show you howeverything goes in our next blog. Hopefully, we'll be taking picturesof YOU here soon! :-) This next coming month is really busy with teams and we're definitely looking forward to it. Ministering with teams is somuch fun.

Angelina is almost half way through herpregnancy! We're so excited! Her tummy is really getting big andcute. We only have a few more doctor's appointments before we'll becoming back to Las Vegas to serve at CC Spring Valley during ourthird trimester (September-November 16-ish). Hi everyone,

We hope that you're all doing well! It's been so much fun for us these last few weeks getting settled in here in Mexico. We're learning a lot from James and Charmaine who are the other missionaries here at CTC. We've been learning about the different ministries held on our facility, like the after school program(Brennan even got the opportunity recently to teach one of the classes!) and bible studies. During the week, Brennan has been working with James in the maintenance department learning all kinds of things about plumbing, mechanics, carpentry, etc., and Angelina has been working with Charmaine learning the administration side of the base, as well as cooking for the after school program and when teams come(we had our first from Spring Valley a few weeks ago and have another from Las Vegas with us now! ). The four of us are really seeking the Lord about what He has next for ministry here and we're so excited. Stay tuned for more changes =).

In case you haven't had the chance to come see CTC yet, here are a few pictures:

Praise God that our after school program has grown so large that we had to move a couple of our classes into bigger classrooms! They were so happy to have more space, and to be located way up on the third story of our dormitory building. The kids and the teachers love their new classrooms; here are some pictures from our after school program.

We have to let you guys know that James and Charmaine (our fellow missionaries here at CTC) are such awesome people and have been so kind to us! God has really blessed us with such awesome brothers and sisters in Christ. I hope that you'll all come and meet them and stay with us sometime soon.

Last weekend, we got the opportunity to participate in an outreach with the church we have been attending- Calvary Chapel Rosarito. We all got together to paint the outer walls of one of the local schools that was heavily tagged with graffiti. There were a lot of children and even some teams from the US that helped, and in the end, it looked completely different! One car drove by and said, “Cristo Vive!”, and another one said, “The kids will hardly recognize it!” It was a blessing getting to meet new people and together make a difference in that community.

Mexico really feels like home to us! We're so grateful to God for the blessing it is to be here. So far, our favorite days are Wednesdays when we get to attend the Bible study held on the facility and get to know our neighbors. A lot of the adjustments we've enjoyed so much, like hang drying our clothes, cooking by candlelight(when the power goes out :D only happened once so far), and eating delicious tacos(don't you want to come visit =) ?) We're excited to soon have a new family member here with us also, last month we found out that Angelina is pregnant(a little more than 10 weeks)! She doesn't want to put pictures of her tummy up, but we'll see!

Thank you all so much for your prayers. Our biggest prayer requests this month would be for some of our children struggling in our after school program with reading and writing, and also for the possibility of beginning a church here, as there is a real need in the community. Mexico Missions Week

Hi Everyone,

We just wanted to share with you some of the pictures from Missions Week when we went to La Gloria, Mexico with the Calvary Chapel Christian School kids. We also would like to tell you a little bit about what the Lord did each day.

Day 1- The team worked on a tire wall to reinforce the hillside against landslides to protect the home and family of a local woman, named Carmen. While constructing the tire wall, some of the girls got the opportunity to play with Carmen's children and to learn to how to make a traditional Mexican Meal(yum! Homemade tortillas!).

Day 2- The team went on a scavenger hunt in a local Mexican Supermarket. They were given a list of items in Spanish and were only allowed to ask the locals for help to find the items. It was so much fun!

That night we all participated in a Bible study that takes place at the base weekly. The Calvary Chapel kids presented a drama and some puppet shows for the children and parents attending the study. Afterward, they were able to give the items they had collected on the scavenger hunt to a few local families while playing with the kids.

Day 3-The team set out early to serve at a bathing clinic held by Spectrum Ministries, in Tijuana. At the clinic, local boys were able to get baths and new clothes, and little girls were able to get their hair and feet washed, and new clothes as well. Parents were able to get fresh vegetables, and there were haircuts for all. We got to help with the bathing, as well as face painting and playing games with the kids (they are really good at soccer).

Day 4-In the morning we worked on the base, helping to construct the beginning phases of a basketball court, as well as planted flowers and weeded. In the afternoon, each team member was assigned a child from the after school program, and we all went to a museum and a 3D movie! For some of the children, it was their first movie theater experience ever! It was such a blessing to have one on one time with all the sweet kids.

The trip was such a blessing! It was awesome to see the high school kids minister and even see our new home-to-be. We look forward to sending you more pictures after we officially move on March 24th!

We can hardly believe we're moving in less than 2 weeks; praise God for His faithfulness!

A Belated Update :)

Hello everyone!

We just wanted to update you all on what's been going on since our last blog post... a lot! The Lord has blessed us with an awesome Christmas, a beautiful wedding( yay, we love being married!), and the opportunity to serve at our home church here in Las Vegas while raising support for Mexico. We're praying that these first months of 2010 have been a blessing for you all as well :).

While here in Las Vegas, it has been such a blessing to serve at CC Spring Valley. The Lord has really been stretching us by giving us the opportunity to serve in different ministries at the church. Angelina has been helping wherever needed, whether it be in the childrens' ministry, accounting, or at the front desk, and Brennan has been serving on the facilities crew learning a lot of new things like patching roofs and fixing toilets. It has really been such an awesome experience for us both and we're excited to see how the Lord may use all the things He has been teaching us(maybe there will be roofs and toilets needing to be fixed in our near future? :D We can't wait to see!)

(Update: We did actually have to fix our toilet at home! Thanks Lord :D)

Praise God! We're still moving forward with the plans to move to La Gloria, Mexico in mid-March, and in the next few weeks we are so excited to get to be part of a trip there that the Calvary Chapel Christian School is taking for their missions week. We can't wait to update you all with pictures and stories of what the Lord is currently doing there.

During this short trip we will actually be staying where we hope to be living soon- at the Calvary Chapel Training Center in La Gloria. If God wills, in mid-March we will moving there to serve as students, learning how to eventually direct the base ourselves. The current ministries at CCTC include housing and planning for the short-term teams, providing space for churches and Bible studies, and facilitating an after school program for children where they can get help with homework, have a small meal and, most importantly, learn about Jesus. We're so excited for the blessing it will be to be a part of what the Lord is doing there and to get to know the children and people of Mexico.

We are still praying, however, for those whom God has prepared to send us. While the most valuable support is prayer, there is a need for a certain number of people to give $10, $15, $20 or more a month to support us as we seek to do His work. This will fund our living on the base and ministering while in Mexico. Please pray for His guidance and our obedience to His will for which we know and trust that He is so faithful to provide.

Hi everyone,

We can hardly believe that it has already been four months since we began the Global Impact Program here in Montana, and already this Friday we'll be heading home to Las Vegas. We're so grateful for the amazing blessing from the Lord that our time here has been. This has been such a time of growth in Him. We're so excited to be a part of His plan!

This last month we focused on the historical perspective of missions work. It's so amazing to study the lives of the “great cloud of witnesses” that have gone before us. Men like David from the Bible or William Carey in India, Pioneers like Hudson Taylor or Cameron Townsend- these are men who have all seen the faithfulness of God and His love for His people.

Something so precious about our Heavenly Father is His care for each lost sheep. We want to have that same yearning in our own hearts to see every people group reconciled to Him, and we know that He can and will reach out to them. What an awesome thing it will be in Heaven to see every nation speaking in every language praising the Lord before His throne! Our prayer is that we would all live our lives helping to fulfill this beautiful picture.

Outside of the classroom this week, you'll never guess what we learned- electrical wiring! (That's what you were going to guess right?) One of the awesome staff members here- Billy Greel- taught us how to theoretically wire an entire house. Then we got to put it into practice by wiring our own power outlets, light switches, and light fixtures. We're excited to see how the Lord will use this in the future. If you would like us to wire your house, let us know (just kidding).

Saying goodbye here has been so difficult, especially leaving the children's ministry at CC Whitefish. It was a blessing this last month to be able to help them with their Christmas choir and to teach our little kindergarten Sunday school class. We're going to miss them SO much! The thing that makes it easier is to know that we leave them in the capable hands of Jesus who loves them so much more than anyone else ever could.

Yesterday, was our commissioning from Potter's Field Ranch. Every month God has been so faithful to provide for us to be here, and it's so incredible to see how He is using this program to send out so many missionaries. While it is so difficult for us to leave, it's funny to think that the whole purpose of this program is to teach interns to “GO!” We're excited to go on to what the Lord has next for us.

Hello Everyone!
The past two weeks have been lots of fun and full of some really cool experiences and teachings. This month of the program is devoted to the Biblical perspective of missions work and has taken us on a journey throughout all the times in the Bible where the Lord has commanded His people to "Go!" out of their comfort zones to shine His light. How awesome it is to have a God who is the Missionary God!

During this time we've had more interns come into the program, and seven leave to start their required missions practicum. For three, that meant staying here as senders(Sean, Sarah, and Jay), two were sent to the field right away(Patrina and Alex) and have safely arrived in the Phillipines, and two are here at the ranch preparing to go to El Salvador(Andy and Riley). Please keep them all in your prayers as they seek to serve and fulfill the Lord's call on their lives. Every October 31st, there's nothing more fun than the Calvary Chapel Whitefish Harvest Festival! The interns were asked to serve by dressing up like farmers and manning all of the games- giving candy liberally to all the participants.

Angelina and I had the pleasure of running the cake walk, and, let me tell you, there's nothing more hilarious than watching a child's face light up as you hand them an entire homemade cake as a prize. The event ended with a Gospel presentation, a hayride, and plenty of hot chocolate for everyone. I wonder if any of those sugar-loaded kids got any sleep that night!

This week my past experience in El Salvador came in handy when Michelle Cunningham, one of our ranch chefs (the most wonderful chef in the world), gave us the opportunity to teach her how to make the famous El Salvadoran "pupusas". Ms. Michelle has cooked so many delicious meals over the past months, how could we refuse? With my lovely assistant, Angelina, I tried my hand at making them. The results were eight lovely pupusas (well... the "gringo" version). To be honest, I wasn't sure that they'd turn out right, but by the grace of God, they were delicious and so much fun.

Last weekend Creationfest came to Montana and we were so grateful to Pastor David Halan of CC Whitefish for providing all the interns with tickets. Creationfest is the nation's largest Christian music festival, and it included rock bands from FM Statik to Audio Unplugged to Jars of Clay. During their performance, the band leaders from Audio Unplugged (formerly Audio Adrenline) taught the Gospel message, and there were hundreds who raised their hands to accept Jesus into their lives! There was also a huge emphasis on missions work all around the world. Praise God for all the people who are so dedicated to the task of reaching our nation's youth through music!

We can hardly believe that we only have five more weeks left as
interns here at Pottersfield Ranch. At this halfway point we're
praying that God would continue to grow and teach us what it means to
live like Jesus lived, always evaluating life in the light of
eternity.

Hello Everyone!

God bless you all! We really hope that you've enjoyed these past couple of months! We can't believe that two months have already passed since we first came up to Montana! Before we know it, it will be December and we'll have graduated from the Impact Program. There's not enough space in all the blogs in the world to write down all of the things we've learned and experienced even just so far!

I know it's hard to believe it, but it is possible to take 12 interns and 2 staff members, corral them into a 15-passenger van, and drive from Whitefish, Montana to Las Vegas, Nevada. I would say that there are only a handful of reasons why you would even attempt something like that, and the best one is the annual Send the Message Conference.

The conference was an enormous blessing! One by one men of God from all over the world took the pulpit to challenge our perspective on God's Great Commission, we were so blessed to have the opportunity to serve and take notes! My personal favorites were Pastor Don McClure's study of Abraham as a missionary and David Guzik's teaching on the main job of the missionary to "draw out the faith" in people. Potter's Field Ranch blessed us beyond what we could ever ask by even considering to transport us all half-way across the country at no additional cost to us, in faith that the Lord would speak to each and every one of us about His plan for His world.

For our outreach this week we got the honor and the pleasure of serving at the Whitefish Christian Academy auction. The auction was in support of the students and families of Flathead valley to make tuition for the school more affordable for all. Since the school's curriculum is Bible-based, they receive no funding from the government, so they annually hold a banquet and auction to lower the cost to attend. This formal event was a major outreach for donations and resources for the wonderful work of the school, and the dinner was run completely by volunteers which meant a huge weight lifted off of the shoulders of the school's administration.

The event was very professionally done and very beautifully decorated. For us, the event meant white shirts, black pants, smiles, filled water glasses, and learning how to properly fold a napkin. God blessed it so much even though the majority of us had never waitered or served food in our lives! One of the volunteers accidentally dropped a small "fingerling" potato onto the floor which then proceeded to bounce into a lady's purse! He quickly informed the lady of the incident and she laughed and laughed.

In reality, after everything that we learned about food service and professional dining, what a blessing it is just to serve the Lord! My prayer is that He would accept everything we did as a pleasing sacrifice to Him, as we strive to do every task set before us for Him.

Hi everybody, hope that you're having such a blessed week! It seems like it was just yesterday that Brennan and I wrote last, time here seems to pass so quickly. Especially this week I think because we had a different schedule than usual. Since our focus this module is on Cross-Cultural Missions, it seems that we were extra- blessed because in the mornings we got to go through the book of Nehemiah with Pastor Don McClure, and in the afternoons we got to really get in depth with Pastor John Michaels about making sense of different cultural worldviews in a practical way and applying it to missions work.

It always blows my mind how incredible and alive God's word is and it was amazing to see how He spoke to all of our hearts so clearly through the book of Nehemiah. Brennan and I have been praying about what the Lord would have us do next after completing this internship; and we can really relate to Nehemiah as he was fasting and praying for the walls of Jerusalem to be built. We feel that the Lord has called us to Mexico, and we are praying and fasting for His vision and provision. While we pray that He would make His plan clear to us, we also are praying for obedience and that we would trust Him completely. It's so encouraging that we never have to ask, "Are we able to do this?" because, when it's the Lord's investment, the answer is always yes. Our prayer is that we will truly internalize and trust that He can and will qualify and shape us for His work to bring Him glory.

Outside of the classroom this week, we were really blessed to be able to serve at the Harvest Festival for the Lighthouse Christian Home.

Lighthouse Christian Home is a non profit organization here in Montana that provides life long care for adults with developmental disabilities. Since they are a Christian organization, they do not receive any governmental funding, and have a couple of fundraisers annually to support their home. We were truly blessed to get to work with them, running their games for the festival, and helping to raise support for the awesome work they do as they extend their arms out to people on Christ's behalf.

Recently one of our pastors asked us a basic question, but it was so moving to us, "Do you really believe that what you believe is really real?" Because we do, we understand how urgent it is to share His love to the ends of the Earth. I pray that our hearts would all be so broken for the lost, and that God would strike an incredible urgency in us to tell others about Him. We are so excited that next week at this time we'll be in Las Vegas for the Send the Message conference. Please pray with us that hearts will be stirred to attend and opened to the Lord's call and plan for each and every life.

First Month at Potter's Field

Hey everyone!

Welcome to the new blog set up for Angelina and me! We've just finished our first month of the Potter's Field Ranch Global Impact program in Montana. The Lord has really blessed us to be able to come here and serve as interns, learning about how to spread the love of Jesus all over the world! Thank you all so much for your prayer and support. The lessons that we are learning here have been really life-changing, and we know the Lord is truly growing us and equipping us for His plan.

This last month has gone by so fast! During the week we have classes in the morning taught by different pastors from all over the US. The teachings are generally based on international missions work, and each month is a different theme; this month's was missions strategy. In the afternoon, we have jobs assigned to us that bless us and really challenge us as well. Angelina's job is in hospitality where she gets to clean and clean and clean. Its really cool because they try to use products that can be found inexpensively, everywhere in the world-- which means they use vinegar and water to clean almost everything. I work in facilities where I'm learning how to do everything from chopping wood, to shucking hay, to fixing things around the property. We are praying that the Lord would use this time to really expand our work ethic and to mold us into better servants of Him.

During the weekends, we are so blessed to be involved with different outreaches, and on Sundays Angelina and I are involved in the children's ministry at Calvary Chapel Whitefish. We started out doing the puppet ministry, but recently we received the blessing of being able to substitute teach in the kindergarten class which was an awesome experience! The kids are so sweet, and we pray that the love of God would transform their lives.

One of the greatest lessons that the Lord has shared with us this last week is communicating better with all of you we love so much back home. Prayerfully, we are working on getting a hard copy newsletter together that we would be able to mail to everyone. Anyone who would specifically appreciate a newsletter with pictures and prayer requests, etc. please email us your mailing address. We're also planning to update this blog weekly with all the Lord is doing and how He is moving and training us here.

It's absolutely gorgeous here in Montana, and it's such a reminder that the Lord is an artist! Not only has He made this beautiful world, but He has given us each a purpose that glorifies Him in the most beautiful way. Our prayer is that all of us would always be fully surrendered to Him and to His will every day of our lives!
