“Sing to the Lord a new song, And His praise from the ends of the earth, You who go down to the sea, and all that is in it, You coastlands and you inhabitants of them!” Isaiah 42:10

Hola familia,

Sorry that it has been so long! To be honest, its been a rough time trying to get this blog out! The ministry has been through some big changes. Thank you so much for being patient with us. You are such an important part of the work God is doing here! Please enjoy these pictures of James and Charmaine's going away party.

Since our last blog:

-Paul and Veronica arrived in Mexico and have been with us now for about a month. They are such a blessing. God is so faithful in His perfect timing, because He brought them at a time where we sure needed extra hands! We’re so excited to have them here with us.
-James and Charmaine had their last day with us this past Monday. We are going to miss them so much! Please keep them in your prayers, as they move to Atlanta
-Our pastor and our missions director from our home church came for a visit to see how the transition was going. It was such a blessing and encouragement to see them, and most of the CTC team even got to eat eye-ball tacos with them!
-The Ninos del Rey program has miraculously grown overnight, we now have over 30 kids regularly attending!
-We’ve had back-to-back amazing teams stay with us, there were a lot of really awesome outreaches and divine appointments.

One of the most beautiful outreaches was to the elderly in the community. A high school team from Calvary Chapel High School served breakfast, gave testimonies, taught a craft, and shared the love of God. The local men and women who attended were visibly affected- one man was moved to tears as the Gospel was preached.

We’re really looking forward to reaching out again to the elderly next week with a team from CC Redbluff. Please pray that those who attend would be blessed and come to know the Lord.

Another powerful outreach was to the men and women living in the drainage canals by the US border. There are over 10,000 people that live there- from North to South Tijuana. Many have been deported from the US, and most are addicted to various drugs.

The team from CC Santa Fe Springs brought sandwiches to the people and shared the Gospel one on one with the people they met there. There was so much powerful prayer and spiritual warfare- SO MUCH IS NEEDED FOR THE PEOPLE LIVING THERE! Please pray that we would be Spirit-led in how to best minister to them.

Some of the most amazing things to see are the personal connections and divine appointments God arranges between the US team members and the local people here. Many teams get the opportunity to come down a few times a year and really build sweet relationships. It’s a blessing to watch how a team member from the US may share their testimony with someone and be so nervous, only to see that the person is so touched. Sometimes the recipient even has a similar story and walks away encouraged in the Lord. We love to talk to the local church after a team leaves and to hear the stories of how someone on the team took the time to pray with them though they had never even seen them before. God is so amazing to demonstrate His love to us in such unique ways.

Little baby Jimmy is coming soon! His due date is June 9th, and he will be born in San Diego. We are so grateful for your best wishes and prayers as we expand into a family of four! Our hope is that you all would be able to come down and meet him as soon as possible.

Other than that, we are doing very well, praise the Lord! Jadon is growing by leaps and bounds! His favorite words so far are, “Ay doe” (I go), and he loves to lift his hand the air and shout “bah-bye” whenever we are heading out the door.

Please be praying for:
  • Our ministry transition
  • Our new companions- Paul and Veronica Morales
  • Our children, and the birth process
  • A continually strengthened marriage
  • For God’s will to be done in our lives
  • The people of Tijuana

We love you guys! Let us know what to pray for you.

God bless you all,

The Davis Family
